London - a bridge between innovation hubs

London continues to be one of the most important bridges between the Caucasus and the global innovation ecosystem.

During our recent visit, we had the opportunity to connect with founders, investors, and members of the Azerbaijani tech diaspora across the city.

A highlight of the trip was our gathering at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in London, where members of the Azerbaijani technology community came together to share their experiences and perspectives. It was particularly meaningful to see Rashad Nabiyev engage directly with founders and professionals, listening to their insights and discussing how Azerbaijan can better support its global tech talent.

Later on, we had the privilege of joining the "Invest in Azerbaijan" panel discussion, where we discussed the investment opportunities in our country. We would like to thank our partners at Oliver Wyman UK, especially Jamal Ismayilov.

We also had the pleasure of visiting the Barclays Eagle Labs, where the London Venture Capital Network member breakfast took place. Many thanks to Aadam and Dan for the invitation and for bringing together such a thoughtful group of investors and ecosystem builders.

Beyond events, the trip was also about what matters most to us: meeting founders. We spent time with several of our portfolio companies, as well as Azerbaijani talent building ambitious projects abroad.

Every trip like this reinforces one belief we strongly hold at Caucasus Ventures:

the future of our ecosystem will be built not only at home, but also through the global network of founders, investors, and operators who share a connection to our region.

Looking forward to strengthening these bridges even further. πŸŒπŸš€
