Last week was a whirlwind of inspiration, learning, and connection as we delved into Silicon Valley's vibrant tech ecosystem! Here are some highlights:
π Visit to Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator: A huge thank you to our friend Sanjay Velappan for giving us a close-up view of the pioneering work at SkyDeck. It was inspiring to meet the teams behind several promising initiatives going through their programs. Not surprisingly, the most of the startups were AI driven and AI focused in this way or other.
π Exploring Partnership Opportunities with UC Berkeley: We had a great discussion with Director of Haas Business School at UC Berkeley, OΔuzhan Aygören, on how we could collaborate to drive impactful change and innovation. Exciting possibilities ahead!
π Central Eurasian Silicon Valley Event: Kudos to Asset Abdualiyev and Asror Arabjanov for organizing the first Central Eurasian Silicon Valley within Silkroad Innovation Hub. We had a chance to participate in panel discussions and it took 5 minutes for someone to mention the role of AI in our industry and venture markets. Meeting so many talented minds from our region, eager to scale into global markets, was a truly proud moment.
ποΈ We were thrilled to see our portfolio companies—Polygraf, JobEscape, and IOMETE—making waves here! It was also a privilege to participate in a panel discussion on unleashing regional potential through investment and forward-thinking policies. Interestingly, all base their products and services around AI.
π‘ TechCrunch Disrupt: This standout event offered deep insights into the startup world, and witnessing the potential of both local and regional startups was inspiring. Wishing all the entrepreneurs we met every success as they push boundaries and innovate!
